Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today said that he was in Kyiv and was not afraid. The statement took place in the midst of Russian forces intensifying shootings in several cities of Ukraine. Russian troops are closer to the capital of Kyiv from the north and west.
“I live in Kyiv. On Jalan Bankova. I’m not hiding. And I’m not afraid of anyone,” Zelensky said in a video on his official Instagram.
He said that he would do as much as needed to “win this patriotic war”.
Volodymyr Zelensky, a former comic, became President of Ukraine in time to witness the deadlock of the Great Between Kremlin and Western forces since the end of the Cold War more than three decades ago.
