Moscow has warned Finland, with which he shared the border of 1,300 kilometers (800 miles), that it would take “reciprocal steps”.
Finnish President Sauli Niinisto spoke with Russian colleague Vladimir Putin on Saturday on the application of the state for NATO membership.
Kremlin said Putin looked at the end of the Finnish military neutrality as a “mistake”.
Finland announced his intention to join NATO on Sunday when the Swedish party said it supports membership, opening the way for the application together
