Nitin Gadkari: Toll Plazas Within 60 Km of Each Other on Highways to be Closed in 3 Months
Overcoming Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, Minister of Sisters Road Transportation and Highway, Nitin Gadkari said that the government would provide feedback to local residents who had aadhaar cards living near the toll plaza. In addition, he also said that there will only be one toll road in 60 km and if there is a 2nd plaza, then it will be closed in the next 3 months.
Nitin Gadkari also said that India made great progress in technology and green fuel would reduce the cost of electric cars. Gadkari reiterated that bringing green vehicle costs will be equivalent to vehicles managed by gasoline in the next two years.
Gadkari also highlighted the need to shift to the original fuel-effective fuel and said that this fuel would soon become a reality, bring the level of pollution down and improve the overall situation in the national capital.
In this front, in an exclusive interview with news18, Gadkari said that India was only one EV revolution from reversing things and lowering the cost of electric vehicles to the level of gasoline and diesel.
