Saudi Arabia allows direct entry from six countries, including India and Pakistan
Saudi Arabia has announced that it will allow directly to visitors from six countries, including Indonesia, Pakistan, India and Egypt, without spending 14 days quarantine in third country.
New direction will take effect from December 1 this year, the Saudi press institution reported, citing official resources at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday.
Last February, the entry ban was immediately applied due to a global surge in cases related to detected variants in the UK, South Africa and Brazil.
Brazil and Vietnam are other countries included in the list of new countries that are allowed to enter directly to the kingdom.
However, all tourists who come from the countries mentioned above will be asked to spend five days in institutional quarantine, regardless of their vaccination status outside the kingdom, the source added.
