‘Words cannot do justice’: PM Modi wishes soldiers, their families on Army Day
State leader Narendra Modi on Saturday wished fighters, veterans, and their families on the event of Army Day. Recognizing the boldness and impressive skill showed by the Indian Army, PM Modi said that words can’t do equity to their important commitment towards public wellbeing.
“All the best on the event of Army Day, particularly to our bold warriors, regarded veterans and their families. The Indian Army is known for its dauntlessness and amazing skill. Words can’t do equity to the priceless commitment of the Indian Army towards public security,” PM Modi tweeted.
India observes Army Day on January 15 consistently to recognize the significance of the Indian Army and honor the penances of warriors. On this day in 1949, Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa’s took over as the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Francis Bucher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India.
“Indian Army work force serve in unfriendly landscapes and are at the bleeding edge of aiding countrymen during compassionate emergency, including cataclysmic events. India is pleased with the heavenly commitment of the Army in Peacekeeping Missions abroad too,” the state head composed on Twitter.
