Wellness company recalls supplement because the bottles may explode

A Montana based health company named Mountain Meadow Herbs has announced memories involving dozens of flush Candida capsule bottles. The reason, according to the company, is that some bottles are pressurized when in storage, which can cause bottles to explode or remove powder when opened, potentially placing consumers with risk.

The recalled product

The recall covering 54 bottles of Candida Flush, capsule-based supplements sold as intestinal cleaning products. Capsules contain several ingredients, including beta carotene, old garlic, vitamin C, and active charcoal.

According to the company, these bottles are sold directly to buyers in several countries, including Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Indiana, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. In addition, bottles are distributed to retail stores in several additional states, including New York, Maine, and Tennessee, and Ontario, Canada.

Explosion risk

According to Mount Meadow Herbs, customer complaints lead to internal investigations. The company found that a few bottles became pressurized during storage, even though the company still saw the reason for this problem. The FDA was warned by withdrawals and reasons. The company said there were no reports of “serious injury” or diseases associated with withdrawals.
